The event was highly successful, with over 100 members from the international scientific community attending online.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meeting, which lasted about three hours, offered both an updated overview of the project&#8217;s status, now in an advanced stage and nearing the first scientific multi-telescope stereoscopic observations, and the opportunity to discuss important aspects of the scientific planning.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<div  class='flex_column av-gzmxrg-ae257ab3da91609d2eb78434600f0146 av_two_third  avia-builder-el-2  el_after_av_textblock  el_before_av_one_third  first flex_column_div  column-top-margin'     ><section  class='av_textblock_section av-mizrbsef-f169749dbdaed65e1ed293c716686b75 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/BlogPosting\" itemprop=\"blogPost\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In his introductory presentation, the Principal Investigator <\/span><b>Giovanni Pareschi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> emphasized how ASTRI is an innovative gamma-ray astronomy experiment using atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes. Thanks to its large field of view and good angular resolution, it aims to precisely identify candidate cosmic-ray acceleration sources in the most promising regions of the sky. This involves observing very high-energy gamma rays (1 &#8211; 200 TeV) in areas already identified at low angular resolution by the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/english.ihep.cas.cn\/lhaaso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LHAASO<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawc-observatory.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HAWC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> astroparticle arrays. Finally,<\/span><b> Stefano Vercellone <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Science Group Coordinator) reviewed the main scientific objectives and the opportunities the Mini-Array will offer for style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meeting was especially constructive, demonstrating the significant advancements made toward the final rollout of the ASTRI Mini-Array and the first scientific observations planned for summer 2026. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.astri.inaf.it\/index.php\/astri-mini-array-7-telescopes-on-the-teide-plateau\/2025\/?lang=en\"><b>Seven telescopes have already been installed<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to date. The <\/span><b>remaining two<\/b> <b>telescopes <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be installed by next spring.
