The ASTRI Mini-Array will observe the sky in the energy range of about 1\u2013300 TeV. The first telescope has already been installed and the array is expected to be completed within a few months. It can be considered a precursor to the larger CTAO, as observations (at least with a 3-telescope configuration) are expected to begin in a couple of years.<\/p>\n<p>CTAO is an international project that will deploy two arrays of Cherenkov telescopes, one in the Southern Hemisphere (Chile) and one in the Northern Hemisphere (Canary Islands, Spain).
