The prototype telescope structure was built by the Italian GEC consortium (Galbiati Group and EIE Group).

The primary mirror is segmented, see photo of a segment below, and it was made at the Brera Observatory – INAF, while the secondary was made by the German company Flabeg-Fe and engineered at the Observatory of Padua.

The Cherenkov camera has a very innovative design, developed by the INAF institutes of Palermo and Catania. The camera was then integrated in Palermo.

It uses compact, sensitive and extremely fast silicon (SiPM) sensors.

In addition, the ASICs used for their control have been built by the French company Weeroc based on shared INAF know-how.
